GRABADOS

Para el proyecto final en mi clase de técnicas de grabados me tocó realizar un afiche de temática libre, implementando una o mas técnicas del grabado. Este proyecto consta de dos técnicas, (monotipia pintor e intaglio).

Mi temática se centró en la fantasía. Específicamente, en las sirenas.

La figura que se trabajó es la de una cola de sirena la cual ha sido editada digitalmente.

Para complementar la composición del afiche, se le añadió un fondo que hiciera contraste con la “figura grabada” además de un texto connotativo y a la vez onírico en relación al concepto, que se integrara con todos los elementos.

Los colores utilizados son de gama pastel y se procuró dejar rasgos muy detallados.
Dando como resultado una composición con un toque de romanticismo.

INTAGLIO

Se dibujó el elemento a representar en relacion al tamaño 11 X 17 pulgadas (tabloide) y luego se calcó en el cartón base, para hacer la placa.

Luego de aplicar la pintura a la placa, se  transfirió al papel.

Cuidadosamente se colocó el grabado de la cola de sirena al inverso de las aletas.
Y éstas se trabajarón gradualmente.

I'M ALIVE!!!

Hola a todos!! hace mucho que no escribo ni publico nada por acá y pues la razón se debe a que e estado algo distraída y ocupada con mis clases, leyendo libros, haciendo proyectos, ir aquí y allá con algunos amigos, étc.

Y pues creo que ya es hora de abandonar la flojera y postear algo. Este blog nació con la intención de postear cosas relacionadas con arte y aspectos positivos de mi país Honduras.

Pretendo postear artículos interesantes y que sean de su agrado así como también las cosas que me parece que valen la pena destacar.

 Mis post anteriores han sido escritos en inglés  porque busco versatilidad y quiero que todos (los que entiendan) se informen y participen si es posible. Así que estaré posteando en ambos idiomas ;)

So, the other day I went to a design festival in El redondel de los artesanos, col. Palmira and I saw a lot of things that caught my attention, one of them was from Brave designs were you can find awesome handmade necklaces...

I also liked the Madlov Brand, where you can find accesories and more...

This over here it´s what we call "Encurtido" and it´s kind of  a

mixture made with onion, carrots, vinegar, cauliflower, garlic, radish, oil, all mixed to add flavor to the food.

I also went to a fantastic place to eat and relax a little bit..

The name of the restorant is "La casa de los cien años" and it has art for all over the walls, with amazing spaces and a tour by the people who work there so you can get to know the history of the house, there´s also a bar!. in summary it´s a friendly creative enviroment for friends and family.

You should go there! xD

Hey Guys!! I know It´s been a while but now I´m back in town!! XD

Recently I had my second experience selling my artwork in an event.

I was so excited for participate in an event like this, because the first time I did it was only because of a class that I was taking  time ago, and now I did it because I want to.


So here´s what I learned  about HOW TO DO IT.
